How are we doing?
How is our local public health system doing? How are essential public health services being provided to our community? A Local Public Health Systems Assessment (LPHSA) involving many community stakeholders and partners was held to help answer those questions.
Invitees included representatives of all cities and school districts within Riley County, as well as the many segments of our community, including hospitals, clinics, physicians, schools, child care providers, public safety and response agencies, K-State, faith-based organizations, employers, elected officials, and others.
We used a national, standardized tool to score our activity level related to the
10 essential public health services.
