• NOFO: Notice of Funding Opportunity (i.e., the grant application announcement from FEMA to the states)
• NSGP: Nonprofit Security Grant Program
• SAA: State Administrative Agency, i.e., the stat-level agency that administers the grant. In Kansas, this is the Kansas Highway Patrol.
• Subrecipient: Nonprofit organization that has received an NSGP grant award
