Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP)

Important Message for NSGP Subrecipients

This important message is for subrecipients who have been awarded an NSGP grant in any past fiscal year and still have outstanding activities. It does not apply to those who have applied and have not yet been funded.

In response to a federal memo, the SAA instructs subrecipients to temporarily suspend all activities except for Personnel costs. We do not have more information at this time. We are actively seeking guidance from FEMA/DHS.

Do not call or email. We are busy trying to sort this out with our federal partners and state staff. Once we get more information, we will reach back. In the meantime, all activities are in a holding pattern. Scheduled activities, such as trainings, may need to be rescheduled for a later date.

Thanks to everyone who submitted applications for the FY24 NSGP-NSS! We received 84 applications from 56 organizations requesting more than $9.3 million in funding. These applications will compete for $1,710,000 in available funding. No consortium applications were received. See the below FAQ section for more information about the what happens next.
